Saturday evening Dec 14th and Sunday afternoon Dec 15th Bill Teeple’s “Party & Paint” will take on a holiday flavor. The theme of the night is “Angels.” The two hour sessions begin on Saturday at 7:30pm and on Sunday at 1:00pm at ICON.

Party and Paint is an evening of enjoying dessert snacks and beverages while putting some paint on canvas. The painting experience can be lots of fun if you take the seriousness out of it. That’s what Party & Paint is all about. The idea is to give people who would never dream of taking an art course a chance to have the fun of making a work of art. Bill Teeple takes the group step by step through the creation of a simple painting. Bill traces the basic composition out for the participants making the process easy.

Saturday night’s painting will be “The Blue Angel” by Marc Chagall. On Sunday we will paint “Angel of Music,” Ethelwynne Quail’s depiction of Geoffrey Hodson’s vision.

Experienced artists are invited to join in, doing their own variations on the night’s theme. Along with the image selected for beginners to copy, Bill will provide a dozen alternate images for the more advanced artists to choose from.
